Q&A With The FIlmmaker

As an avid sports card collector, I've always loved vintage basketball. The limited runs and difficulty to find high grade examples makes it a fun area for collecting. The 1961 Fleer set has always been my favorite due to its incredible checklist, vibrant colors and other factors. I even run a website called 61fleer.com diving deep into the nuances of that set. When I heard last year a 1961 Wilt Chamberlain received an SGC 10 grade and the story behind it, I was hooked. I wanted to learn and share every detail about this incredible find.

Chamberlain is arguably the greatest athlete to ever play in the NBA. He has a mountain of incredible records that stand today including his famous 100-point game, averaging over 50 ppg in a season and having the most 35-, 40-, 45-, 50- and 60-point games in NBA history. These are just the tip of the iceberg as viewers will learn while watching the film. As a result, his rookie card has always and continues to be highly sought in ANY grade.

Those that collected sports cards as a child will be surprised by how much the hobby has changed. With professional grading and card breaking now being two big parts of the hobby. But even seasoned collectors will enjoy being "in the room" for the sale of a super high end card.
